Hi, I'm Philip Myers

It has been nearly 45 years since my grandmother gave me my first camera, a Kodak 110 Instamatic to capture some of my early grade school years while living in the Philippines. As an early teen, I recall getting to spend a summer of painting lessons with her where we would shoot photos of the Colorado Tetons and then later paint from those prints. One of my early career aspirations was graphics design, but eventually gave way to an aviation career as an airline pilot. In the early 1990’s I taught myself photography with every book I could find on the subject and practiced with a Cannon SLR which my father purchased on his way through Tokyo in 1966. As I found camera and art to be a perfect partnership, now I found camera and travel to make good companions. Eventually I would have a chance to share photography with my daughter, Emma.

Hi, I'm Emma Myers

I fell in love with photography the moment my dad handed me his Nikon. Ever since then, I take a camera everywhere I adventure to. Over the years my dad has taught me everything that I know about our shared passion for photography. At around the age of 17, I began being commissioned for sporting events, senior pictures, corporate headshots, and local events. I've also worked for our small town newspaper, The Logan Daily News, for 3 years. I've always loved to document both the miniscule and monstrous moments throughout life, and photography is the best way to do just that.
